EPBN – WISE Academy: Train the Trainers & Inclusion Toolkit

Empowering the Next Generation of Diversity Leaders

The EPBN -WISE Academy is the central knowledge hub of the EPBN – WISE project, dedicated to equipping Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and business leaders with the expertise needed to transform European workplaces into safe, inclusive, and equitable environments.

Train the Trainers: Scaling Impact Across Europe

In October 2025, the EPBN- WISE Academy hosted a landmark training intensive in Prague, Czechia. This series of workshops brought together 10 EPBN-member organizations from across the continent, including Spain, France, Czechia, Ukraine, Slovenia, Hungary, and Germany.

The program was specifically designed for CSOs to master the art of implementing LGBTIQ+ inclusion training within their local corporate landscapes. Throughout the sessions, participants engaged in deep-dives on:

  • Identity & Foundational Knowledge: Building a nuanced understanding of LGBTIQ+ identities and the unique challenges they face.
  • The Data-Driven Case: Utilizing evidence to demonstrate the profound economic and human impact of workplace exclusion.
  • Dismantling Bias: Strategies for identifying and addressing unconscious bias and microaggressions.
  • Allyship in Action: Developing concrete best practices for fostering allyship and sustainable inclusion.

These organizations are now acting as regional multipliers, utilizing this knowledge to launch pilot training programs in their home countries.

The EPBN – WISE Inclusion Toolkit: From Theory to Practice

To complement our live training, our member organization Pride Business Forum has developed a comprehensive EPBN – WISE Inclusion Toolkit. This resource serves as a foundational guide for employers and firms ready to take their first steps—or refine their existing policies, regarding LGBTIQ+ inclusion.

What’s inside the Toolkit?

  • The Conceptual Framework: Clear definitions and theoretical insights into sexual orientation, gender identity, expression, and sex characteristics (SOGIESC).
  • Policy & Program Design: Actionable advice on creating suitable policies and initiatives for the modern workforce.
  • Real-World Success Stories: Practical examples and case studies featuring insights from our very own EPBN – WISE Mentees and Role Models.

The toolkit provides the roadmap; your leadership provides the destination.

Coming Soon: The digital version of the EPBN – WISE Inclusion Toolkit will be available for download on this page shortly.
